K – 2nd

Fans of The Day the Crayons Quit will love this new book from Daywalt and Jeffers. Duncan’s crayons are back and they want to come home! Duncan receives a packet of postcards from his former crayons. Each card expresses a different crayon’s individual needs, demands, and concerns for coming home. Funny, silly and creative touches throughout the book will be appreciated by kids and grown-ups alike. And if the teacher will let you turn out the lights, everyone can enjoy the glow-in-the-dark page together. This selection is so popular with our staff that it also appears on Miss Sophie's Favorite 2015 Picture Books (so far...)
