March Spring 2016 Excerpts is Here!


This spring comes in with a buzz of excitement as we welcome a new director in addition to a slew of new programming. Device Advice is a new series that welcomes anyone with questions regarding devices or technology. This is a drop-in session held on select evenings and Saturday afternoons in the Hamil room. March features our visiting professor series that will highlight the Terracotta Warriors and Quantum Computing. Saving the planet isn't easy but we will learn the tips on Recylcing in Glencoe come early April. Our Author Events, feature Justin Peters a local native who discusses his work The Idealist and the struggle over control of information. We have our weekly sing-a-longs as usual but something is up our sleeve as we present an exciting new Magician event for the whole family! Fans of Downton Abbey will love our costume event that discusses the secrets behind creating the vintage attire seeon on the show. With photos mentioned in the New York Times and Newsweek, Photographer Marisa Scheinfeld discusses the Borscht Belt of New York. Can't have spring without animals.
